© Tres Bien ShopDries van Noten is a Flemish fashion designer and stylist. He was born in Antwerpen on May 12th 1958.
He graduated from the Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts (Antwerp Fashion Academy) in 1981. Together with Walter Van Beirendonck (graduated in 1980), Dirk Van Saene, Ann Demeulemeester, Marina Yee (graduated in 1981) and Dirk Bikkembergs (graduated in 1982) he became known as one of the Antwerp Six.
Van Noten opened his first store in Antwerp in 1989 and two more showrooms in Paris and Milan in 1993, followed in 1997 by Tokyo and Hong Kong.
He won the International Award of the Council of Fashion Designers of America in 2008.
