Frida & de Henri’s is located in the former 19th century ballroom in Mechelen, which was badly bombed during the 2nd World War. The building was restored to its former glory and transformed into a small restaurant. It feels like you’re eating in a loft, lovingly decorated with Danish second-hand furniture from the 1950s and ‘60s.
