Belgian chocolate has been the food of champions, a lure for lovers, the indulgence of the rich and later, the favorite of the masses.

Belgium produces 172000 tons of chocolate per year in over 2,130 chocolate shops. Our chocolate has pure cocoa flavor because we don't use vegetable shortening.

A beautifully sculpted chocolate shell conceals a center of filling which explodes with a surprising texture and flavor in your mouth. Many chocolatiers still make their pralines by hand. Every town and even small villages have chocolate stores with luxurious pralines.

The production of more than 172000 tons of chocolate, pralines and other cacao delicacies is the work of more than 20 different chocolat ateliers that use only the very best ingredients. Some of these chocolate houses – such as Neuhaus – have a tradition dating back more than 100 years. Besides their traditional products, they also innovate by combining chocolate wit flavors that at first sight are not associated with chocolate.
